At Northland Mechanical safety and health is part of every operation, and is part of every employee's responsibility --- at all levels. Northland Mechanical intends to comply with all laws concerning the service of the business and the health and safety of our employees and the public.

Northland Mechanical places a strong emphasis on safety every day in every aspect of the job site. We are committed to providing our employees with a safe and healthful working environment and to the elimination of any and all accidents that could injure our human and corporate resources. Our Safety Director continually trains and certifies our employees beyond OSHA requirements. The Safety Director conducts all necessary instructional seminars as well as maintains updated databases tracking employee safety training and certifications to ensure each employee is always up to date on their training.

At Northland Mechanical, safety is not just about training; safety is part of the mentality at each job site. Each job site conducts weekly "Toolbox" talks with employees. The toolbox talks and routine site inspections ensure that our employees know that safety is a priority. Our customers and employees are assured that Northland Mechanical takes safety seriously.

The Safety Director conducts regular safety inspections on each crew. The purpose of these inspections is to ensure each job site is implementing the safety and health programs. Each inspection is unannounced with the field supervision present. The results of the inspection are documented, discussed, and any corrective action will be scheduled.

Northland Mechanical has created a policy that mandates a corporate-wide safety, health, and loss prevention program with the goal of providing a work environment free of recognized hazards. Our Safety, Health, and Loss Prevention Program has the following objectives:
